Old Gulph Road Closing For 12 Weeks: Lower Merion Township
The road is closing during weekdays for about 12 weeks as crews install new gas mains and service installations, the township said.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Old Gulph Road in the Penn Valley section of Lower Merion Township will be closed for about 12 weeks due to new gas main and service installations, the township said.
Work will begin on or about Sept. 2, the township said.
During the work, Old Gulph Road will be closed between Hagys Ford Road and Montgomery Avenue.

The work will be done will between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday until the work is done.
Due to the extent of the excavations, through-traffic will not be possible during much of the project. This includes emergency vehicles and school buses.

Residents will have access to their properties from either the Hagys Ford Road or Montgomery Avenue side of the project.
