One Ardmore Place Work Starts Friday: Lower Merion Township

The work will close Cricket Ave. between Lancaster Ave. and Cricket Terrace for up to two weeks starting March 13, the township said.

Construction on the One Ardmore Place mixed-use apartment building is set to begin Friday, March 3, according to Lower Merion Township.

Starting Friday, 20 parking spots in the Cricket Avenue lot will be blocked and fenced for material storage and staging and on Monday, March 6 utility installation will begin on the site.

During that time, the parking lot will remain open but spots may be blocked as work progresses, according to the township. Pedestrian will have access to all store entrances throughout construction.

The work will also close Cricket Avenue between Lancaster Avenue and Cricket Terrace for up to two weeks beginning March 13, the township said. Detours will be posted.

Officials said the Cricket Avenue lot will likely be fully closed at the end of March as active construction begins.

To stay up to date on parking changes due to work, the township is encouraging residents to check the township website and Facebook page frequently.

The project is being handled by contractor Harkins Builders developer Dranoff Properties.
