From One Show to the Next! Local Actress Lands Another Role at Walnut Street Theatre!

Katie Johantgen, a member of the 2014-2015 Walnut Street Theatre Apprentice Class, is ready to hit the stage once again in WST for Kids production of Freckleface Strawberry The Musical. Johantgen was on the Mainstage but a month ago in Zombie in Love, where she played a funny, squirmy worm! Now, Katie takes on the role of Emily, a whimsical schoolgirl with a big crush!

Based on the book by Oscar-winner, Julianne Moore, this colorful musical teaches kids to be proud of who they are and to accept others for who they are, too!
