Part Of North Highland Avenue Closing Thursday: Lower Merion Twp
A stretch of the road will close for most of the day Thursday as crews work to install air conditioning units at a building in the area.
MERION STATION, PA – A portion of North Highland Avenue in Merion Station will close for most of the day Thursday, May 31, according to Lower Merion Township.
Officials said the road will close between Old Lancaster Road and Broome Lane from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The closure will accommodate installation of air conditioning units at 250 N. Highland Ave., the township said.

Crews will be using a crane to install the units, and that crane will be located near the North Highland-Old Lancaster intersection.
Traffic will be detoured and emergency vehicles will not have access to the area during the closure.
