Paving Work Closing Lancaster Avenue Overnight Next Week

A portion of Lancaster Avenue in Lower Merion will be closed overnight next week for paving work, PennDOT said.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lane closures are planned on Lancaster Avenue in Lower Merion Township next week due to paving operations, according to PennDOT.

The township will close Lancaster Avenue/US 30 between Ardmore Avenue and Rittenhouse Place overnight Wednesday, July 24 and Thursday, July 25.

Closures will be in place each night from 8 p.m.to 6 a.m. the following morning, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and slowdowns will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather permitting.
