PECO Work Lasting Through Late September In Lower Merion Township

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO work will last from early January 2023 through late September 2023 in Lower Merion Township, PennDOT said.
Gas main work will be done on two portions of Spring Mill Road/Route 320 from Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 through Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023.
Alternating closures and detours will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., PennDOT said.

One portion of road seeing work is between County Line Road and Montgomery Avenue.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Montgomery Avenue, Airdale Road, and U.S. 30/Lancaster Avenue.

The other is between Montgomery Avenue and Wrenfield Way.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Montgomery Avenue, North Roberts Road, Old Gulph Road, Harriton Road, and Morris Avenue.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
