Pennswood Road Bridge Closing For 2 Years
Officials in Lower Merion Township said the bridge will be entirely replaced over the course of two years with work starting Wednesday.

LOWER MERION, PA — Pennswood Road bridge in Lower Merion Township is being replaced and the work will last about two years.
According to Lower Merion Township, the bridge will close Wednesday.
The closure will accommodate work that entails replacing the entire bridge structure and sidewalks.

Pennswood Road will be closed from the St. Luke’s Church driveway on Pennswood Road to San Marino Avenue until the project is completed and the bridge can be reopened.
Pedestrians will be able to get across the bridge for most of the construction, the township said.
