Police Investigate Simple Assault in Ardmore
Three victims were attacked with some sort of spray by unknown assailants, according to local police.

Lower Merion Police are investigating a reported simple assault in Ardmore, according to reports released Monday, Nov. 29.
On Saturday, Nov. 27, a male and two females were reportedly walking back to their car on the unit block of E. Lancaster Avenue when a black male, described as wearing a beige sweater and glasses, pulled up in a tan Buick, according to the police report.
The suspect stepped out of the car with two females and sprayed the three walkers with an orange liquid, possibly pepper spray or mace, before leaving the scene, according to police. Lower Merion Police officers were called to the scene and searched the area for the suspects, but did not locate them.

Witnesses gave the police a partial license plate description of the vehicle – HLM-550 – but it is not known what other letters or numbers may have been on the vehicle's plates, police said.
No hospitalization of the victims was required, according to the police.
