Recycle Campaign Signs In Lower Merion Nov. 8 Through Nov. 13
Instead of throwing out the signs, Montgomery County wants you to recycle campaign signs after the Nov. 7 election. See details here.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – What should you do with those campaign signs after ballots are cast on Nov. 7? Recycle them as part of the Montgomery County campaign sign recycling program, that's what.
Residents in Montgomery County can recycle those signs Nov. 8 through Nov. 13, and Lower Merion-area residents can do so at the Lower Merion Transfer Station – located at 1300 North Woodbine Ave., Penn Valley – during regular operation hours.
Plastic signs with metal stands are accepted through the program.

Montgomery County is partnering with Republic Services, Cougle’s Recycling, Inc., the Montgomery County Democratic and Republican Committees, and participating municipalities to recycle political campaign signs and stakes from this year’s election
The program does not seek to take the campaign sign clean up responsibilities away from the campaigns, the county said. Instead, the program hopes to connect candidates and residents with drop off points so that signs can be recycled instead of thrown in the trash, according to the county.
