Road Closing Through October In Lower Merion Township
PennDOT said PECO gas main work will force Spring Mill Road to be closed through late October. Drivers will be detoured during the closure.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Spring Mill Road in Lower Merion will have closures and detours through late October due to PECO work, PennDOT said.
According to PennDOT, alternating closures and detours will be in effect Friday, Feb. 9 through Friday, Oct. 27.
These will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The work locations are:
- Route 320/Spring Mill Road between County Line Road and Montgomery Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Montgomery Avenue, Airdale Road, and U.S. 30/Lancaster Avenue; and
- Route 320/Spring Mill Road between Montgomery Avenue and Wrenfield Way. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Montgomery Avenue, North Roberts Road, Old Gulph Road, Harriton Road, and Morris Avenue.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
