Roadwork Affecting Lower Merion Traffic This Week: PennDOT

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA – PennDOT said three roads in Lower Merion Township will see work during the week that may cause delays for drivers in the area.

From 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, April 9, lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Wynnewood Road between Forrest Road and Hazelhurst Avenue in Lower Merion.

Crews will be conducting tree removal operations.

Additionally, Argyle Road between Sussex Road and Grenox Road will see lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10 for tree removal work.

And from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, April 13, lane closures are scheduled on Rock Hill Road between Belmont Avenue and Route 23/Conshohocken State Road for high-friction resurfacing work, PennDOT said.

Drivers in the areas should plan for increased travel times or plan alternate routes.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
