SAT Scores At LMSD High Schools Among Best In Pennsylvania

See where they stack up among other schools statewide.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education released the average 2016 SAT scores for schools statewide, and the Lower Merion School District is represented extremely well.

Lower Merion and Harriton high schools in the Lower Merion School District which were ranked fifth and sixth in Pennsylvania, with average SAT scores of 1766 and 1754, respectively.

Nearby Conestoga High School was ranked third in the state with a 1795 average, while Radnor landed in eighth with 1746.

The top scorers in PA were Julia R. Masterman High School in Philadelphia and Downingtown STEM Academy in Downingtown.

Lower Merion and Harriton also were ranked first and second among Montgomery County schools.

In Montco, the dueling Lower Merion schools beat out Upper Dublin, Lower Moreland, Wissahickon, Jenkintown, Methacton, Springfield Township, North Penn, and Perkiomen Valley high schools.
