Data from Montgomery County shows Narberth has its first new case since early July. Lower Merion saw 16 new cases since Monday alone.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion's coronavirus case total is nearing 800, according to data provided by Montgomery County Friday.
New cases are still being reported daily in Lower Merion Township, and the latest data shows the total number of cases seen in Lower Merion is 768.
That figure represents a 16 case increase from Monday.

Nearby in Narberth, the first new case since early July was reported Friday. Narberth had two cases reported on July 9 bringing the total number of cases in the borough to 23. Friday's data showed one additional case was found in Narberth, making the total number of cases 24.

The average age of Lower Merion residents who contract the virus is 55.
Women account for 423 cases and men account for 344 cases. The gender for one case has not been identified.
Coronavirus related deaths in Lower Merion remains at 84. Narberth has seen no deaths.
Of those deaths, one person was in their 40s, one person was in their 50s, four were in their 60s, 10 were in their 70s, 40 were in their 80s, and 28 were 90 and above. Additionally, 49 women and 35 men have died in Lower Merion.
Montgomery County as a whole has seen 10,433 cases and 825 deaths since March 7.
