LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The coronavirus's impact is waning, but it is still infecting people in Lower Merion Township.
According to the most recent data from Montgomery County, Lower Merion saw 26 new cases of the coronavirus over the past week, bringing the total count to date to 892.

- 30 to 39 — 88

- 90 and older — 75
The average age of a person infected with the coronavirus in Lower Merion is 51.3.
Of all the cases, 411 have been men and 479 have been women.

Two cases have not had the gender identified.
The death toll in Lower Merion remains at 84.
Of those deaths, one person was in their 40s, one person was in their 50s, four were in their 60s, 10 were in their 70s, 40 were in their 80s, and 28 were 90 and above. Additionally, 49 women and 35 men have died in Lower Merion.
Overall, the county has seen 12,122 positive cases and 833 coronavirus-related deaths since March 7.
