More than 550 have the virus and more than 75 people have died from the virus in Lower Merion as of Tuesday.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The coronavirus has killed more than 75 Lower Merion Township residents and infected more than 550, according to data provided by Montgomery County Tuesday.
New data released Tuesday shows 76 people in Lower Merion have died from the virus.
Of the 76 deaths, one person was in their 40s, four were in their 60s, eight were in their 70s, 36 were in their 80s, and 27 were 90 and above.

Forty-five of the deaths were women, and 31 were men.
Lower Merion has the second highest death count in the county; Springfield has the most with 85.

The county has seen 699 deaths to date.
As of Tuesday, Lower Merion now has 556 cases of the virus, the second most in Montgomery County behind Norristown, which has 835.

Of the 556 cases, 309 are women and 246 are men.
Nearby, Narberth has only 18 cases and no deaths.
Overall, Montgomery County has 7,124 cases.
