The accessibility and amount of funding was really great, but the diversity and inclusion at the school leaves something to be desired. The general atmosphere of pushing young students too hard is also very damaging in the long run. No one should have to give up so much of their sanity like the schools asks of children!
This school is super competitive but has the greatest clubs and athletics to join. Teachers are pretty helpful and prepare you for college.
I liked how much they prepared me for college and guided me towards a future career interest. I have been with Lower Merion School District since I was in Kindergarten, and the countless numbers of amazing teachers that I had over the years leads me to rate my experience as very good. When I was in third grade, my grades started to slip and I became less focused. I was then diagnosed with ADD, and the district was more than helpful with this obstacle. They gave me resources to extra help in school and they were very supportive. Lower Merion helped me flourish into a mature and intelligent person.
