LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The total coronavirus case count in Lower Merion since the start of the pandemic has nearly reached 2,500, according to the latest data.

Data from the Montgomery County Department of Health shows from March 7 to Monday, 2,494 people are or have been infected with the coronavirus.

Of those cases, 1,322 have been women and 1,163 have been women.

  • 80 to 89 — 179
  • 90 and older — 97

The average age for a Lower Merion resident with the coronavirus is 44 years old.

According to the latest date, Lower Merion incidence rate of coronavirus infection is 139.61 per 100,000 people.

Regarding coronavirus deaths, 102 Lower Merion residents have lost their lives to date.

  • 40 to 49 — 2
  • 50 to 59 — 1
  • 60 to 69 — 6
  • 70 to 79 — 14
  • 80 to 89 — 45
