Sewer Rent Bills Due at the End of the Month

The Township's Finance Department is reminding residents that the due date for payment in the flat period for 2010 Sanitary Sewer Rent bills is Thursday, Sept. 30.

The 2010 rate is $3.82 per one-thousand gallons of water consumed. Payments federally postmarked and/or received in the Township Treasurer's Office after Thursday, Sept. 30 will be late and subject to a 10 percent penalty, according to a Lower Merion township press release.

Residents who have not received their 2010 sewer rent bill should call (610) 645-6144 immediately, according to the township. Residents should leave their names and local property addresses, along with a mailing address if different from the property address, so that a duplicate bill can be mailed prior to the Sept. 30 due date.

Failure to receive your bill will not entitled to the discount amount or to abatement of any penalty assessed.

The Township Treasurer's Office is located on the second floor of the Township Administration Building, 75 E. Lancaster Avenue in Ardmore. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
