Solid Waste Subscription Forms Due Dec. 1

Any Lower Merion resident who wishes to change their refuse and recycling plan for 2011 must do so before the end of the month.

Solid waste subscription forms were mailed to all households earlier this month, and anyone wishing to change their subscription level should return the form by Dec. 1. If you do not wish to change your subscription levels, there is no need to send the form back.

"The good news is that there will be no Solid Waste Fee increases in 2011 and if customers are satisfied with their current level of service, they do not need to return a subscription form," said Don Cannon, Director of Public Works, in a press release.

The township noted that the mailing listed an incorrect phone number for the refuse division, which should read (610) 667-1952. All billing questions for solid waste fees should be directed to the finance department at (610) 645-6144.
