St Charles Borromeo Seminarians Moving In Tuesday
The seminary in Wynnewood will be bustling this week as seminary students move back in and begin their classes.
WYNNEWOOD, PA — Seminarians will be moving into Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Move in will occur Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Seminarians will be return to the College and Theology at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, beginning with registration and moving-in to the residence halls.

Bishop Timothy C. Senior, Rector, Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, and students entering the seminary for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will be available for media interviews.
Registration is from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and tours will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, College Building, Center House, 100 East Wynnewood Road, Wynnewood.
The Seminary anticipates an overall enrollment of 163 seminarians for the 2019-2020. Of the 42 new seminarians, 19 are seminarians studying for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, six are entering the college seminary while 13 are entering the Spiritual Year, Pre-Theology or ESL. In total, there are 75 new or returning seminarians for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, studying at St. Charles.
Saint Charles’ seminarian population is becoming increasingly diverse with approximately 30 percent of its students now coming from Asian, Latino, or African countries or nationalities.
Opening week at the seminary will include campus tours, in which returning seminarians will pair with new seminarians and their families to tour the grounds and facilities.
Group activities such as daily Mass and day trips are also planned during the first week.
Fall classes for the College and Theology seminarians of Saint Charles Borromeo officially begin on Thursday, Aug. 22.
