St. Joe's Has One Of PA's Best ROI For Students

The private school straddling the Main Line and Philadelphia also tied with two other schools in the national ranks.

LOWER MERION, PA – A new list has ranked colleges across the country based on student returns on investment. Some area schools were ranked quite well, while others were lacking. Let's see where Saint Joseph's University in the Lower Merion and Philadelphia area landed on the list.

According to PayScale’s 2017 College ROI Report: Best Value Colleges list, St. Joe's is the 25st best college in Pennsylvania for return on investments.

PayScale says the Catholic university has a $301,000 20-year net ROI; a $224,000 total four-year cost; a 73 percent graduation rate; a typical four year attendance to graduation; and a $40,000 average loan amount.

The private school was also ranked 460th nationally, tying with Montana State University - Main Campus and Sonoma State University.
