Survey On Limiting Plastic Straws, Bags In Lower Merion Launched

A group of local students launched a survey to gauge the public's interest on limiting single-use plastic straws and bags in various ways.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — In an effort to decrease Lower Merion Township's environmental impact, a survey on plastic bag and straw use has been launched.

The survey was created by a group of Harriton High School students with the support of the Sustainability Steering Committee created by the Township's Environmental Advisory Council.

Residents are asked to share their feelings towards the township possibly taking action to limit single-use straws and bags in various ways.
