Thousands Of Free Meals Given Out By Lower Merion School District
So far, more than 7,200 meals have been distributed and the number will only grow as the district continues to offer grab-and-go meals.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District starting offering grab-and-go meals to kids in the district who are out of school due to the new coronavirus, or COVID-19, pandemic.
Since starting the meal program on March 17, the district said it has distributed about 7,200 meals to Lower Merion and Narberth kids.
Meals are still being distributed only between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in the Suburban Square parking lot at Montgomery and Anderson avenues, across from former Ruby's location.

Meals will still be available over spring break on Monday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 8
At those times on those days, district families will still be able to get 10 meals — five breakfasts and five lunches — each week.

Families looking to get the meals are asked to register online here to allow the district's Nutritional Services to prepare the necessary number of meals.
On Monday, families will receive:
- Monday's lunch;
- Tuesday's breakfast and lunch;
- and Wednesday's breakfast.
On Wednesday, families will receive:
- Wednesday's lunch;
- Thursday's breakfast and lunch;
- Friday's breakfast and lunch;
- and Monday's breakfast.
