3 Homes Burglarized In 5 Days: Lower Merion Police

Another home was victim to an attempted burglary as well, police said.

ARDMORE, PA – Lower Merion Police are reporting three residential burglaries and one attempted burglary in the township. All occurred over a period of just five days, police said.

According to police, homes in Bala Cynwyd, Narberth, and Penn Wynne were all either burglarized or had burglary attempts made upon them.

Police are unsure of exact timelines.

According to police, a home on the 100 Block of Henley Road in Penn Wynne was victim to an attempted burglary sometime between May 11 and now.

Police said the back window of the residence was forced.

Police are investigating the attempted burglary.

Between May 12 and May 15, police said a residence on unit block of East Newfield Way in Bala Cynwyd was hit by a burglar.

Police said the burglar got inside the residence through an unlocked door and took jewelry.

A residence on the 100 block of Jefferson Street in Belmont Hills was burglarized between 1 p.m. May 14 and 9 a.m. May 15, police said.

Police said it's unknown how the burglar got inside the residence, but when inside the suspect took tools.

Lastly, police report a residence on the 500 Block of South Narberth Avenue in Narberth was hit on May 15.

Police said the burglar was able to enter the residence through an unsecured window.

Once inside, the burglar took valuables such as electronics, jewelry, and checks.

Police did not say if they believe the incidents are related.
