Veterans, First Responders To Be honored At LMHS Football Game

The community will honor military veterans, police, firefighters, and first responders before the Lower Merion-Haverford game Saturday,

ARDMORE, PA – Before the Lower Merion Aces take on Haverford Fords on Saturday, Sept. 15 at Arnold Field, military veterans, police, firefighters, and other first responders will be honored.

The Lower Merion football team is inviting the community to attend a tailgate party with food, drinks, music and fun on Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. at the front entrance to Lower Merion High School.

Following the tailgate party, the Aces will take the field against Haverford High School in a pivotal Central League matchup.

But before the 1p.m. kickoff, the Lower Merion community will honor military, police, firefighters and first responders.

Those with police, firefighter, military, or other first responder identification will get free admission to the game.

Anyone who wants to be part of the pregame event is asked to be at Arnold Field by 12:30 p.m.

Lower Merion High School and Arnold Field are located at 315 E. Montgomery Ave. in Ardmore
