Weather Forces Cancellation of Lower Merion Memorial Day Parade

LOWER MERION, PA -- The Lower Merion Memorial Day parade and concert has been cancelled, the township announced Monday morning.

A ceremony was held beneath a tent at St. Paul's Cemetery in Ardmore at 11:30 a.m.

Rain battered the area overnight Sunday and into Monday morning. Things had cleared up by mid-morning, with no inclement weather predicted until 4 p.m., according to Weather.com, when there is a slight chance of rain.
