Work Affecting 2 Lower Merion Road Next Week
Work will affect City Avenue and Conshohocken State Road. The Conshohocken State Road work will last until mid November, PennDOT said.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Traffic on two Lower Merion Township roads will be affected by work next week, according to PennDOT.
PennDOT said City Avenue will have a lane closure next week, while Conshohocken State Road will have lane restrictions.
According to PennDOT, City Avenue Special Services District will have a single lane closures on City Avenue/U.S. Route 1 next week.

The lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22.
Crews will be working on drainage improvements.

Additionally, PECO Energy is planning lane restrictions with flagging on Conshohocken State Road/Route 23 next week.
Restrictions with flagging will be in place between Spring Mill Road and Front Street Monday through Friday next week.
The restrictions will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility installation
Following the weekday lane restriction, this portion of Conshohocken State Road will be closed weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., through mid-November.
Drivers will be directed to use Spring Mill, Old Gulph, and Matsonford roads during the closure.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work zones because backups and delays will occur.
