Work Affecting Lancaster Ave, Conshohocken State Road This Week

PECO and Verizon will be working on projects in Lower Merion Township this week and next. See how the work will affect your commutes.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Two Lower Merion Township roads will have traffic restrictions this week due to two projects, according to PennDOT.

PennDOT said Conshohocken State Road and Lancaster Avenue will all be affected this week.

According to PennDOT, PECO will have a weekday lane closure in place on Conshohocken State Road April 13 through April 20 for utility construction.

Work will be done from 98 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Mary Waters Ford Road and Righters Mill Road

Additionally, Verizon is planning single lane closures this week on both roads for utility construction.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 13, a lane closure is scheduled on Conshohocken State Road) between Spring Mill Road and Gunning Lane

Then, Tuesday, April 14, through Friday, April 17, a lane closure is scheduled on eastbound and westbound (Lancaster Avenue between Greenfield Avenue and Ardmore Avenue. The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

And lastly, from Tuesday, April 14, through Tuesday, April 21, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on eastbound and westbound Lancaster Avenue between Indian Creek Road and City Avenue.

Again, the closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
