$1,220 Worth Of Items Stolen From Bala Cynwyd CVS: Police
Police said when the suspect was approached by store security and a manager, he said he would shoot them, but never showed a gun.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — Police in Lower Merion Township are asking for help identifying a man suspected of stealing more than $1,000 worth of items from a Bala Cynwyd business in mid January.
According to police, the man seen above went into the CVS at 101 W. City Ave. in Bala Cynwyd on Jan. 17.
He filled up two bags with various items and was approached by a store security guard and the manager, police said.

As they approached the male he stated, "touch me and I’ll shoot you," according to police.
Police said the man did not show a firearm or make any implications he had a firearm.

He fled the store with $1,220.53 worth of merchandise, police said.
Police described the suspect as a black man in his mid 50s standing about 6 feet tall.
Anyone with information on the theft or the suspect is asked to call Lower Merion Police at (610) 649-1000 and ask for detectives.
