Bala Cynwyd Home, Business Burglarized: Police

Police said the home burglary occurred during the day Thursday and the commercial burglary occurred early Friday morning.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — A home and a business in Bala Cynwyd were burglarized Thursday and Friday morning, according to Lower Merion Township Police.

Police said at about 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, two men got inside a home on the unit block of East Newfield Way through an unlocked door.

The men, who were in their 20s or 30s, fled the house after seeing a workman inside it, police said.

Then at about 2 a.m. Friday, burglars targeted Bala Cleaners, 48 Bala Ave.

Police said the suspect got inside through an "improperly secured door."

After getting in, the suspect stole cash and clothes, police said.
