What are $125,000 cookies?

Each year at ball, Scott’s Lemon Cookies are auctioned during the live auction. For the past 10 years, the cookies have raised over $125,000, and raised$48,000 last year alone.

This year in honor of what would be Alex’s 21st birthday, guest who donate $5,000 during the evening’s Fund a Cure will receive a plate of the Lemon Cookies and a bottle of champagne to toast to Alex’s birthday.

But don't worry if you can't donate $5,000. Scott's recipe is included in the new Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation cook book, Alex's Table. All proceeds from cookbook sales go right back to fighting childhood cancer.

The event – sponsored by Applebee’s, Northwestern Mutual, and Volvo – also features three awards: Stand Host of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and the Alex Scott Crystal Cup, with Carpino family of Swedesboro, New Jersey, Mary and Molly Hollway, and Penn Wynne Elementary receiving these awards, respectively.
