Longtime Main Line Guitar Shop To Close Permanently

The store, which also offers repairs and lessons, has been in business for nearly two decades.

NARBERTH, PA — A longtime musical instrument store on the Main Line will permanently close in the coming weeks.

Since 2009, Danny's Guitar Shop in Narberth has been a local hub for guitar retail, lessons and repairs.

Owner Dan Gold announced Thursday that he's retiring May 31, when the store will close.

"It has been a great run and it really is a bittersweet adios," Gold said on the business's Facebook page.

Lessons will be moving to Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, starting May 11.

"Meantime I GOT STUFF!!" Gold said. "Besides a few amps and guitars I have banners, posters, artwork, wearables, collectibles, tchatchkes, magazines, books, CDs, CHEAP or FREE."

Danny's Guitar Shop is located at 102 Forrest Ave., Narberth.
