The Taney Dragons -- Philadelphiaâs boys (and girl!) of summer -- fell to Chicagoâs Jackie Robinson West, 6-5, on Thursday night, ending the teamâs inspiring Little League World Series run.

Though the loss was of course disappointing, the overwhelming emotion of the evening was pride.

The impressive effort of the two-year-old Little League team was highlighted by both of Pennsylvaniaâs senators.
