According to 6ABC, Summer Palone was 38 weeks pregnant on March 9 when her water broke but Francis Palone wasn't around and was worried he might not make it home to get her to a hospital, so he called 911.
That's when the emergency crews reacted and two Haverford-Narberth Ambulance units showed up.

"It all happened so fast," Summer told Main Line Media News. "They were there in five minutes. It happened so fast. I still planned on going to the hospital but one paramedic told me, 'we're going to have the baby here.' I called at 1:55 and Halstead was born at 2:33."
“I’ve been there numerous times shortly after the delivery but never in the moment,” McCans told the outlet. “And lately it’s been tough losing so many young people to overdoses. This is really uplifting. Mom did all the work and it was a great crew to have done it with.”
