Woman Carjacked Outside Bala Cynwyd Store Tuesday

Police said the woman suffered head and arm injuries when a man carjacked her gold Toyota Highlander Tuesday night outside a business.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — A carjacking occurred outside a business in Bala Cynwyd Tuesday night, according to Lower Merion Police.

Police said the incident occurred at about 7:50 a.m. at the Wine and Spirits shop at 119 W. City Ave.

According to police, a man forced a woman out of her gold Toyota Highlander and fled the area in it.

The victim suffered head and arm injuries, police said.

The suspect was described as a black man standing 6 feet tall and was wearing a dark jacket, olive green pants and carrying a backpack.
