Why are you seeking elective office?
I am seeking office to continue to serve the communities in which I spent my entire life in an increased capacity so that I can have a larger impact.
The single most pressing issue facing our state/nation is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The single most pressing issue is an underfunded education system. I will work with fellow legislators to find new revenue sources to assist local school districts and ease the burden on residents through property taxes.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am the only candidate with previous public service experience which will make the transition much smoother. I have proven experience in working with community leaders and other public officials to enact legislation to resolve issues and make positive changes within the commonwealth.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the incumbent failed the district?
n/a
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform
I want to restore infrastructure and increase opportunities within our district. I intend to enhance public safety via increased support with municipal and volunteer organizations.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As a member of the Baldwin Whitehall school board I initiated a program to include students as non-voting members of the school board to enhance student participation. As a member of Baldwin Borough council we worked together to upgrade the community parks and successfully rezoned district maps to properly segregate commercial from residential properties.
The best advice ever shared with me was …
Always be true to yourself and those around you.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I have dedicated much of my life to public service whether it be elected office or volunteering as a representative to Allegheny County Airport Authority Charitable Foundations, Steel City Vo-Tech School and Mon Valley Special Needs. I am a registered PIAA official and volunteer for Special Olympics. I am a member of various fraternal organizations and an active member of St. Sylvester church. I believe in a strong community and have lived my life working toward achieving that goal.
