"We have been part of a team having several significant accomplishments, such as improvement in the conditions and public safety at the and surrounding neighborhoods, and improvement in the solvency of our public works- and -pension plans. We also provided for a significant increase in funding to maintain our roads.

"All of this was accomplished with NO increase in property taxes. In addition to tackling new issues as they come up, we would like to see the borough become more proactive. We require a long-range plan for this borough, along with a revenue improvement plan. We need to continue to cut costs, but we also have to find ways to enhance our revenue stream so that we can continue to provide excellent service to our residents.

"Above all, we must have excellent communication with the media and, especially, our residents so they understand the reasons for council's actions."

Signed,

Michael Stelmasczyk

John "Butch" Ferris

David M. Depretis
