The Baldwin High School marching band is one of four from the Pittsburgh area in the running for WTAE Operation Football's Band of the Week award.
As of the time this article was published, Baldwin High (124 votes) is in first place in the fan-voting contest ahead of Jeannette High School (87), Gateway High School (57) and Rochester Area High School (10).

The winning band will be announced during Channel 4 Action Sports at 6 p.m. on Friday and will be featured during Operation Football at 11:15 that night.
