Baldwin High School Gets New Principal
School directors went outside the district to rind a successor to Walter Graves.

BALDWIN, PA - Baldwin High School will have a new principal when school resumes in the fall. Baldwin-Whitehall school directors have hired Shaun Tomaszewski to succeed the retiring Walter Graves.
Tomaszewski currently is the Northgate School District's director of curriculum and assessment. He also has taught science and chaired the science department at Mt. Lebanon, and served as the K-12 STEAM coordinator for Pittsburgh Public Schools. Tomaszewski also teaches at the University of Pittsburgh, where he is working on his doctorate degree.
“He was not the typical candidate. He has experience at all levels, in both city and suburban areas,” Superintendent Randal Lutz said in a district release. “What I saw in him was his ability to be adaptable, to really respect and embrace the faculty as the true experts they are, and the work they do.”
