Baldwin To Hold Relay For Life Event

The American Cancer Society fundraiser will occur this weekend.

BALDWIN, PA - The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Baldwin, Brentwood and Whitehall will be held June 16 from 5 to 11 p.m. at Baldwin High School.

Relay For Life is the cancer society’s signature fundraiser and is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Relay is a team event in which team members take turns walking around a track or designated path. Each event is between 6 and 24 hours in length and each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps.

The Baldwin event will feature raffles, face painting, balloon artists and a luminaria ceremony. Food vendors will include Kona Ice, Wild River Kettle Korn, Bruster’s and Chick-fil-A.
