Baldwin Inline Hockey's Elementary Team Evens Record

The team of third-, fourth- and fifth-grade boys is 7-7 this season.

The 2011-12 Baldwin Inline Hockey Elementary team played twice on Sunday, winning both games to improve to 7-7 on the season despite starting out 1-5.

Baldwin defeated Bethel Park, 9-1, on Jan. 22 before also besting Hempfield, 5-2. Ryan Butler earned the wins as goalkeeper in both games.

The Baldwin team, representing , and , is made up of third-, fourth- and fifth-grade boys, mostly from but one from and another who is homeschooled. The team competes in Division 2 of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Roller Hockey League.

The team pays its own way to compete and organizes fundraisers to support itself. Its season runs from October to March.
