Baldwin Library Holding Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser

BALDWIN, PA - The Baldwin Public Library will follow next week’s Elvis-themed fundraiser with a double elimination cornhole tournament at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 8 in Elm Leaf Park. The entry fee is $50 for a team of two, with first, second and third-place prizes of $400, $200 and $100, respectively.

Here’s what you need to know about the tournament:

• Registration closes on Sept. 30 and there will be no event-day registration.

• Prizes are based on a full 64-team tournament. If there are fewer teams, payouts will change.

• The tournament is for amateurs only.

• Glass bottles are not permitted in the park!
• There are a few covered pavilions and shaded areas, but pop-up tents and lawn chairs are recommended.
• The park parking lot has limited spaces, but street parking is available..
• Steel City Cornhole will be providing the boards & bags and will be running the tournament.
