Baldwin Man Who Crashed Car Into Hair Salon Sued

Kevin Kiley's car slammed into the Brentwood Towne Square BoRic's last year.

BALDWIN, PA - A Baldwin man whose car crashed into a Brentwood hair salon last year is being sued by a family whose mother and daughter were critically hurt in the accident.

The lawsuit alleges that Kevin Kiley, 59, was distracted and didn’t properly operate his vehicle when it crashed into BoRic’s Hair Care last April 24, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported. The lawsuit seeks damages and court costs.

Renee Pyertz and her 15-year-old daughter were among seven people in the salon injured in the incident. The daughter’s injuries required amputating her left leg above the knee, according to the Post-Gazette.
