Baldwin Plans Annual Community Day, Car Cruise
What you need to know about two of the bigger borough events of the summer.

BALDWIN, PA - Now that summer has unofficially arrived, the borough is gearing up for two of the season’s special events: The second annual Car Cruise in June and the annual Community Day celebration in July.
Plans are still being finalized for both events.But the Baldwin Historical Society, which is hosting the car cruise, has promised dash plaques, awards, food and drinks, music and a raffle. The car cruise will take place June 24 from noon to 4 p.m. in the borough building parking lot on Churchville Avenue.
Community Day will be held July 8 beginning at 4 p.m. in the parking lot and fields behind the borough building.The festivities will include a dunk tank, DJ, kettle corn, clowns, games and fireworks concluding the event at 9:30.

If you get hungry during the proceedings, difficult dining decisions await.Among the food trucks confirmed thus far for the event are Cruizin Cuisine, Oakmont Barbeque, The Coop Chicken and Waffles, The Hala Truck, Kona Ice, Out Little Secret Cafe, Vagabond Taco Truck, and Curly's Tin Rizzi Ice Cream.
