Baldwin Suspect In $111,000 Bank Heist In Custody
Gary White is accused of robbing a Brentwood PNC Bank.

BALDWIN, PA - Gary White, the subject of a police search since he allegedly robbed a Brentwood bank last week, is in custody after turning himself in. White surrendered Sunday evening to the Allegheny County
Sheriff’s Fugitive Unit, which had been working with county police to locate White since the robbery.
White is accused of robbing PNC Bank on Route 51 in Brentwood. According to police, White entered the bank at approximately 1 p.m. on Sept. 20 armed with a knife and demanded money from the teller. White was able to get behind the teller’s counter and obtain access to the vault, taking more than $111,000.

Police recovered the money while searching for White, who is in the county jail awaiting arraignment.
