BALDWIN, PA - The Baldwin-Whitehall School District Transportation Department has teamed with local businesses to make the holidays happier for dozens of children in the form of new bikes and helmets.

For the third year in a row, transportation department staffers collected money to buy the bikes and helmets for Toys For Tots. In addition to their personal donations, they worked with businesses in the district that extended discounts to help support the purchases.

The "stuff-the-bus" initiative resulted in 66 bikes and helmets brought to Wednesday's school board meeting on a school bus to be presented to a Toys for Tots representative.
