Dear Families:

Communication between home and school is extremely critical towards providing an effective instructional environment for our children. As we prepare for Parent-Teacher Conferences, we look forward to your insights regarding your child's education and input about the school year. As a parent, you provide valuable information for your child's teachers, so they are better able to address your child's needs. Our teachers truly appreciate the support that you give to your child in his/her education while at home.

During your conference, your child's teacher will be sharing information about district curricula, your child's achievement, work habits, and peer relationships. Please feel free to write down any questions that you may have for the conference.

This year's fall Parent-Teacher Conferences will be conducted virtually, via Google Meets, and the schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, November 18, 2020 (10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.)

Some information regarding our Parent-Teacher Conferences:

1.In an effort to consult with as many parents/guardians as possible, conferences will be scheduled for every 15 minutes. If you require additional time, please consult your child's teacher to schedule a follow-up meeting for another time.

2.Continuing this year, to schedule an appointment, you will utilize your Skyward account and schedule your conference online. Directions for accessing and using this tool are attached.

K-5 Parents: Must schedule a conference with your child's homeroom teacher

6-8 Parents: Must schedule a conference with only 1 of your child's teachers

3. Once the conference scheduling window is closed, teachers will send an invite/link through email for parents/guardians to access the conference via Google Meets during the scheduled time.

The online scheduling window will be open from Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. through Friday, November 6, 2020 until 4:00 p.m. If you do not have access to the Internet, please contact your child's teacher.
