BALDWIN, PA - The state Department of Education has released results of the most recent Keystone Exams, the end of the year assessments given to students in algebra, biology and literature. Most Baldwin-Whitehall students who took them are either proficient or advanced in those subjects.
The results:
- Algebra
Advanced: 17 percent
Proficient: 50.8 percent
Basic: 25.5 percent
Below basic: 5.7 percent

Advanced: 27.1 percent
Proficient: 38.5 percent
Basic: 24 percent
Below basic: 10 percent
- Literature
Advanced: 7 percent
Proficient: 65.2 percent
Basic: 21.3 percent
