Baldwin-Whitehall School District: BW Joins DonorsChoose District Partnership Program

Baldwin-Whitehall School District announced today a new partnership with the national nonprofit DonorsChoose.

Baldwin-Whitehall School District announced today a new partnership with the national nonprofit DonorsChoose to help teachers tap into a network of 4.7 million donors to support classroom projects and more seamlessly align with district strategy and operations.

Teachers in Baldwin-Whitehall School District have raised $100,459 and completed over 191 projects on DonorsChoose. These projects vary from books to laptops and other tools to enhance the learning environment and support student success.

"Baldwin-Whitehall School District is grateful to have such a significant partnership with DonorsChoose and we're very excited to join the District Partnership Program," said Superintendent Randal A. Lutz. "Our district's incredible teachers know their students' unique needs better than anyone. Through DonorsChoose, they can use that knowledge to help fund projects that bolster their vision for high-quality instruction in the classroom."

As one of the 120+ members of the DonorsChoose District Partnership Program, Baldwin-Whitehall School District will be able to fully support teachers in the use of the platform, ensure safety and security, and align efforts with the district's strategic priorities. Baldwin-Whitehall School District will be able to monitor all donated materials, principals will be notified each time a project is funded, and receive early notification when there are new "match" funding opportunities.
