Baldwin High School Talent Show Boasts Success

"Baldwin's Best" put on a one-of-a-kind talent show in the auditorium on Wednesday night with the help of the Baldwin High girls lacrosse team.

The annual show was kicked off by the Baldwin Dance Team, followed by acts that featured the many talents of the high school's students. Acts included singing numbers, piano melodies, dance routines and much more.

Members of the girls lacrosse team volunteered their time to sell tickets, usher spectators and judge acts. All of the proceeds will help the team to build revenue for a future donation to a charity of the team's choice.

, a social studies teacher at Baldwin and the head coach of the girls lacrosse team, said that the show raised over $1,000.

Last year, the team raised money for a local family fighting cancer.

With a captive and vocal crowd, the talent show was a true success for the impressive turnout.
